Gamification is the application of gaming concepts to non-game experiences. In this presentation, I'll be looking at ways that gamification can be used in the language classroom and also sharing some ideas for adapting online games for language teaching, based on the Digital Play blog (http://www.digitalplay.info/blog) and the Digital Play Methodology book, which ahas recently been short-listed for a British council ELTON (Innovation in ELT) award.
